Ziplining is, of course, the biggest draw at Flight of the Gibbon Chiang Mai. While the activity is a fantastic adrenaline-pumping adventure in itself, ziplining through the lush green rainforests of Thailand takes the experience up by a notch. The adventure park features 15 separate ziplining courses at varying lengths, with the longest one spanning up to 800 meters. Visitors will be free to choose from a suitable course as per their adventure appetite and level of expertise. Sailing through, one can catch a sight of the friendly resident gibbons that the Flight of the Gibbons owes its name to.
Rappelling is another one of the mini-adventures that make up the obstacle courses at Flight of Gibbon Chiang Mai. Rappelling, also known as abseiling or mountain climbing, is a sport where climbers must descend down near vertical heights while harnessed to a rope around their waists. Rappelling sports tests one’s stamina as well as strength. At Flight of the Gibbon, adventurers must abseil down trees to the forest floor. The abseils however, form a minor part of the adventure courses at the park, as opposed to the ziplines.
